Close CALL: Tree Falls On Madison House

No injuries were reported after a tree fell onto the roof of a Madison house.

Aside from a shutter being knocked out of place of the Valley Road home, no structural damage was reported in the Wednesday afternoon incident, Lieutenant John Miscia said.

The tree fell Wednesday at approximately 3:30 p.m., and brought response from the borough's police, fire and building departments.

First responders worked to remove the tree to avoid more serious injury, Miscia said.
